Skateboard Decks

Opera skateboard decks are built on the EX7 construction: 7-ply 100% North American maple pressed with epoxy glue, individually pressed for consistent concave, with stronger-than-industry-standard 7-ply strength, strong pop, and long deck life.

How to choose a skateboard deck width: most street setups ride 8.0" to 8.5"; transition and bowl skaters usually go 8.5" to 9.5"; and if you want real width, Opera's Fatties big-board program runs from 10" up. Match your trucks to your deck width - a properly matched setup keeps wheels under the rails where they belong.

Every graphic here is drawn for Opera - bold, a little mischievous, built to stand out in a lineup of decks that all start to look the same. Pro models from Kieran Woolley, Sam Beckett, Nassim Lachhab, Josh Douglas, Trey Wood, Clay Kreiner, Jack Fardell, and Alex Perelson - use the Pro Rider filter to shop by skater. Specialty builds live in Pop Slick (slick bottom ply) and Symmetrical twin-tips.
