Welcome Home: The Madness Skateboards Comeback
Share

Some brands end. The best ones hibernate. In April 2026, Madness Skateboards came back, posting a simple message: Welcome home - with a team list that reads like a transition skating all-star roster: Alex Perelson, Sam Beckett, Jedd McKenzie, Jack Fardell, Clay Kreiner and Nick Papa, joined by Liam Pace.
Madness built its name on heavier, faster skating - big transition, big shapes, R7 construction - and on graphics that leaned into the surreal. When the brand went quiet in early 2023 it left a hole in that corner of skateboarding. The 2026 return closes it.
Madness and Opera
Madness lives alongside Opera Skateboards under the same roof - both run by skater-owner Bill Weiss, both sold here and through Sidewalk Distribution wholesale. Opera carries the EX7 street-and-everything line; Madness carries the R7 transition side.
The boards
The current Madness line includes the Believe, Repeat Offender, Rise Above, Son and Split decks in R7 construction, from 8.25" up to a 10" Split. Shop the Madness collection.
