Grip Tape
Grip is the one part of a setup you touch on every trick, so buy it like it matters. A fresh sheet restores board feel instantly - lay it square, press the air out from center to rails, score the edge and trim clean. Pair a sheet with a fresh deck and the whole board feels new. Order direct or through your local shop.
One sheet per deck, a spare in the bag, and the file that makes the edge last - that is the whole grip strategy.
The Opera grip lineup
Every sheet here is sold single and measures 33 by 10 inches, in five designs: Barbwire, Big Barbed, Blood Rose, Mask Die-Cut and Mask Melt. The Mask sheets carry the Opera mask; the rest are graphic sheets to match whatever deck you are setting up.
How to grip a deck
Laying grip takes five minutes and a razor blade. Peel the backing, line the sheet up with the nose and lay it down toward the tail, then press from the center out to the rails so no air gets trapped. Run a file or the shaft of a screwdriver along the edge to score it, trim along the line, and poke through the truck holes from underneath.
