Gripping a deck, properly
Start the sheet square at one kick, roll it down the length of the board, and chase the air out from the middle to the rails with firm pressure. Trace the deck edge with something metal to score the line, cut with a fresh blade, then dress the edge so it stays put for the life of the board.
